The awesome Ait Bougmez valley called «Happy Valley». Located in the heart of the high central Atlas, enjoys a huge plateau at 2000 meters of altitude. Watered from all sides with high peaks such as Mgoun (4068 m), Azourki (3682 m), and Rat (3800 m). It’s a very cultivated valley: vegetables and apple trees.
The Ait Bougmez valley offers a variety of fabulous scenery and a Berber culture jealously preserved by its inhabitants, while being open to the sights of visitors with a warm welcome. The Majestic Ait Bougmez Valley Trekking Adventure was a fantastic experience. The valley’s beauty is unmatched, and the cultural insights provided by our guide, Ismail, were fascinating. The traditional house stay was cozy, and the local food was delicious. My only suggestion would be to offer more varied trekking difficulty levels to cater to different fitness levels.
