Day 1 : Arrive To Marrakech

Upon your arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, your designated driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals area, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. They will warmly welcome you to Marrakech and assist you with your luggage. Your driver will then escort you to your Riad.

Day 2 : Marrakech Guided Tour

Day 3 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdz ( Draa Valley)

 

On Day three, you’ll depart from Marrakech and venture on an amazing journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Your first stop is the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning ksar with ancient earthen buildings that have stood the test of time. After exploring its winding alleys and admiring the incredible architecture, you’ll continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sahara” and famous for its film studios and historical kasbahs.

Day 4 : Agdz – Zagora – Tamegroute – Erg Chigaga

On the fourth day, you will depart from Agdz and continue your journey into the desert, traveling along the fascinating path that leads to Zagora, a town known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” You’ll travel through quaint Berber towns and take in the breathtaking views of the Draa Valley, which is home to historic kasbahs and tall palm trees. You can catch a glimpse of the final significant stop made by caravans traveling to Timbuktu centuries ago at Zagora.

After that, you’ll travel to Tamegroute, a village known for its ancient Koranic library that houses manuscripts dating back hundreds of years, as well as its characteristic green pottery. Continuing to Tafraoute, we encounter Jean Vérame’s colorful painted rocks, a testament to the region’s artistic heritage. As dusk falls, we explore a traditional Tazeka home, offering a glimpse into Berber culture. Day 8 : Tafraoute – Aoukerda – Icht

We leave the beautiful town of Tafraoute and set off toward canyons of Aoukerda, passing through rugged landscapes and quiet Berber villages that reveal the timeless charm of southern Morocco. The road offers panoramic views of the Anti-Atlas mountains of Morocco, creating a stunning backdrop for this leg of the adventure. On Day 11, we depart Icht and head to the ancient village of Amtoudi, renowned for its centuries-old berber granaries and stunning oasis. From there, we travel through Guelmim, the “Gateway to the Desert,” before reaching the coastal towns of Sidi Ifni and Mirleft. Day 10 : Mirleft – Tiznit – Inoummar Granary – Taroudant
