Quick Answer
This luxury 10-day Morocco tour is a private, tailor-made journey from Marrakech to Casablanca. It’s paced for senior travelers from the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. Highlights include a High Atlas day trip, Ait Ben Haddou, and a luxury desert camp near Merzouga. The imperial city of Fez, the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen, and the capital, Rabat, round out the route. Transport is by private Mercedes Vito and Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4. Ismail and Mustapha and their team of local guides organize every detail. The pace stays unhurried throughout, with driving days broken up by scenic stops along the way.
Designed For Comfort
A senior-friendly pace, without losing the highlights
Most standard Morocco itineraries are built for stamina. This one is built around comfort instead, without cutting any of the country’s signature moments. Long driving stretches are broken into shorter legs. Real rest is built into the schedule rather than squeezed out of it.
Because the trip is entirely private, there’s no bus of strangers to keep pace with. There’s no fixed departure each morning either. If a riad courtyard is worth a slow breakfast, the day simply allows it.

Day By Day

Arrival In Marrakech
A private driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to a luxury riad in the medina. The rest of the day is free to settle in. Mint tea and a welcome briefing on the days ahead round out the evening.
Marrakech Guided Tour
A gentle-paced private tour of the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Garden, and the medina’s souks. Plenty of stops for tea and shade break up the walk between sights.
High Atlas Day Trip: The Three Valleys
A scenic private drive through the Ourika, Imlil, and Ouirgane valleys, with Berber villages and mountain streams along the way. Lunch is served overlooking the peaks, and you return to your Marrakech riad in the evening.
Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura
The private Mercedes Vito crosses the Tizi n’Tichka pass. A stop at the UNESCO-listed kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou breaks up the drive, followed by Ouarzazate. The day ends at a luxury kasbah hotel in the Skoura palm oasis.
Skoura – Dadès Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert
The route continues through the Dadès Valley and the towering Todra Gorges. A transfer by Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 then reaches a luxury desert camp near Merzouga. Private bathrooms and proper beds wait beneath the stars.
Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Fez
An unhurried desert sunrise starts the day. The route passes the old market town of Rissani, the palm-lined Ziz Valley, and the apple orchards near Midelt. A stop in the cedar forest near Ifrane often brings a sighting of Barbary macaques. From there, it’s on to a riad in Fez.
Fez Guided Tour
A gentle-paced private tour of the world’s largest car-free medina. Highlights include the tanneries, the Al Qarawiyyin area, and the Bou Inania madrasa.
Fez – Chefchaouen
A scenic drive through the Rif Mountains leads to Chefchaouen. The rest of the afternoon is free to settle into the Blue City at your own pace.
Chefchaouen – Rabat
The route continues to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. A relaxed visit takes in the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Time along the Bou Regreg riverfront closes out the day before settling in for the night.
Rabat – Casablanca / Marrakech
A private transfer closes out the trip. It ends in Casablanca for international flights, or returns to Marrakech, whichever suits your onward journey.
