Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, guests will be welcomed by our team and escorted to their hotel for a smooth and restful start. This evening is reserved for settling in, with an optional orientation to introduce Morocco’s culture and the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat

The day begins with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, a marvel of Moroccan architecture on the Atlantic coast. We’ll then explore the medina’s charming markets before heading to Rabat, where highlights include the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Royal Palace. After a leisurely day, seniors can enjoy a restful evening at a comfortable hotel in Rabat.

Day 3: Rabat – Tangier 

After breakfast, we’ll travel along the coast to Tangier. Here, seniors will enjoy a gentle exploration of Cap Spartel, the scenic Cave of Hercules, and a seaside lunch. The day continues with a visit to the Kasbah Museum and an optional stroll along Tangier’s beach promenade. Overnight accommodations ensure a peaceful night in this culturally rich coastal city.

Day 4: Tangier – Chefchaouen

A morning drive takes us to Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Known for its blue-washed buildings, Chefchaouen offers a peaceful pace ideal for relaxed exploration. Day 5: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes

Today’s journey covers two historical gems. First, we’ll explore Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins with remarkable mosaics and architecture. After lunch nearby, we continue to Meknes, known for the grand Bab Mansour gate, Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum, and bustling Place el-Hedim. This evening will be spent at a comfortable hotel in Meknes, allowing for relaxation after a day rich in history.

Day 6: Fes Sightseeing

A short drive brings us to Fes, where seniors will venture on a guided journey through Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its intricate artisan work and historical sites. The tour includes stops at Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and various artisan workshops. A leisurely lunch break and a comfortable pace make this an immersive yet relaxing day, followed by an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

We set out early to venture on a scenic journey south, traversing the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains and passing traditional Berber villages along the way. Upon arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, you will enjoy a comfortable camel ride through the serene Erg Chebbi dunes to reach our luxury desert camp. As the sun sets over the golden sands, guests can savor a delicious Moroccan dinner under the stars, with an overnight stay in well-appointed tents that offer both comfort and a unique experience of the desert’s tranquility.

After breakfast in the desert, guests have the opportunity to watch the sun rise over the dunes, a sight that’s both breathtaking and peaceful. Returning to Merzouga town, guests will settle into a comfortable hotel with a pool, offering a relaxing day to enjoy the desert views. Seniors can take advantage of optional activities, such as visiting a local Gnawa village known for its traditional music, or simply unwind by the pool and savor the desert ambiance. This second night in Merzouga offers a blend of relaxation and cultural immersion.

The journey from Tinghir to Ouarzazate is a long one 176 klm and the road climbs up into the valley of the Dades. The palm-tree gradually gives way to orchards of pomegranate-trees, and you pass through one kasbah after another. However stop and visit the kasbah in Kalaat Magouna which massively stands out in silhouette on a crag from which you can look out over the whole oasis. You first realize that you are near ouarzazate , a town of 71 067 habitants, when you pass through one of its arches that straddles the road. And then, Ouarzazate the whole Southern Morocco seems to be embodied in that name. Once arrive to Ouarzazate you will have the chance to visit on of Ouarzazare’s edges the Glaoui palace, kasbah of Taourirte and we won’t miss the cinema studios. Overnight in ouarzazate.

Our journey continues along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through palm groves, traditional villages, and historic kasbahs. We arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” for its popularity in the film industry. Seniors can explore the Taourirt Kasbah, a fascinating historical site with impressive architecture and beautiful views. Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, we reach Marrakech, where guests can unwind in a comfortable hotel, reflecting on the diverse experiences of the day.

A full day in Marrakech offers seniors a well-paced exploration of the city’s vibrant attractions. Highlights include the Bahia Palace, a stunning example of Moroccan artistry, the Saadian Tombs, and the peaceful Majorelle Garden, where guests can relax amid lush greenery and vibrant colors. In the evening, a visit to Jemaa el-Fnaa square provides an exciting glimpse into Marrakech’s lively culture.
